If you know about diabetes, you are in one of two camps.
Either, you believe that diabetes is a disease that can’t be cured and you must take medication for the rest of your life. (which most doctors say)
Or you believe that diabetes is a condition that can be reversed.
By the end of this article, you will understand which is true.
Diabetes is a condition in which your body isn’t producing enough insulin to process the sugar in your body.
Or your body isn’t is not using insulin properly, either way, your body has too much glucose.
What is glucose?
Sugar is glucose.
Then what is sugar?
Starch is Sugar.
What is starch?
Carbohydrates are starch.
Now we have the answer.
Carbs = Starch = Sugar = Acid = Glue
Sugar leaves an acid ash and causes the blood cells to stick together.
Blood glucose can be controlled with the food that you eat.
Alkalising your body using the right diet changes the environment inside your body which reverses the condition called ‘diabetes’.
Diabetes is a condition.
A situation created inside your body because of certain foods(sugar/starch heavy) have been consumed over a period of time(usually many years) which causes the pancreas to produce insufficient insulin and leads to sugar not being processed by the body optimally.
When you change this situation, by changing the food consumed, the diabetes goes away.
Diabetes is NOT a disease, it is a condition which can be reversed.
You don’t have to take medication for the rest of your life if you are willing to make a few changes in your body change.
Medication isn’t a guilt free pass which allows you to eat whatever you want, it is just a way to keep your sugar in check so that you don’t go into hyperglycaemia(high blood sugar) or hypoglycaemia(low blood sugar).
The question nowadays is not who is diabetic, the question has become who isn’t.
A look at people above the age of 40 in this country is enough to give us the truth, almost every person is diabetic, just look around you.
At least 1 out of 3 people is diabetic, and the people who don’t have it consider themselves lucky that they haven’t got diabetes.
In my experience of looking at people with diabetes, one thing is extremely clear.
People waste their time looking for a solution to keep eating what they already eat instead of choosing alternatives which taste just as good and are also healthy.
People want to continue eating rice everyday instead of looking at another option like Quinoa.
They look toward rotis but fail to realise that wheat has gluten and is also detrimental to their health.
The trick lies in how you implement the solution.
That is the difference between winners and losers.
Some methods are easier than others. (Successful people know this well)
People who’ve failed miserably at changing their diet are surprisingly successful at using intermittent fasting to achieve the same results.
A method that works for some people may not work for all, but we approach the problem with a one size fits all approach. I’ll cover more about this in future articles.
Diabetes is a fully reversible condition, if you change the internal environment.
The next few weeks are going to be full of celebration and festivities, a new year is going to begin and it is a good time to think about the food that you put in your body.
People who get results in a new year are not those who make resolutions on January 1, they are those who make resolutions in December for January.
